The next edition of the Standing Brave will be out soon, expect it in your inbox if you have given us your email. According to the current bylaws, the Lodge Chief has the authority to call a Special Meeting with ten (10) days advance notice. This will also be mentioned in the Standing Brave. This Special Meeting will be held on December 12, 2009 at the Acheson Maritime Center at 9pm. This meeting will include the regular business meeting and will also include a chance to vote on the new bylaws. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Also plan on attending the Annual Banquet on January 9th at 6pm. This event will be held at First United Methodist Church, the cost will be $12. Dues may be paid until then for $8, the banquet is the last chance for that price when it goes up to $10 after the event. Bring your girlfriend or your family to this event, awards presentations, a speech by Section Chief Brad Lichota, a few promotional videos and some great food, and don't forget nominations for Lodge Officers. We also ask that if anyone is interested in assisting with a project, small or large, to arrive a few minutes early and talk with myself or another lodge officer and we can see what you would be interested in doing.
